Richard A. Leverone, DC, DACBR
Dr. Leverone graduated from the National College of chiropractic in Chicago in 1959 and completed his radiology training at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis in 1968. He was board certified in radiology in 1970.
He began his training in MRI in 1982 at the Radiological Society of North America in Chicago and completed visiting fellowships in MRI/CT at University of South Florida in 1989 and 1990 and University of California, San Francisco in 1990 and at the Harvard Medical School department of continuing education 1996 and 1997.
He is a member of the post-graduate faculty of the National University of Health Sciences and is a well known lecturer locally and nationally on the subjects of diagnostic radiology and radiation physics, MRI/CT and MR physics and technique. He has interpreted over 100,000 MRI cases and has published numerous articles, including a publication that appeared in the March 1999 edition of The Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society Newsletter.
Dr. Leverone is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, American College of Chiropractic Radiologists, Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society, Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA), Florida Chiropractic Society (FCS), West Coast Radiological Society, and the Pinellas Chiropractic Society. Dr. Leverone is credentialed in MRI by the Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society. |
